An agency named
after its method

The turf is the craft — the training ground, the scouts, the coaches we have known for a decade. The numbers are the proof — the models, the clauses, the five-year projections. A football career needs both. Most players are only ever offered one.

The story

It started with a
bad contract

In 2017 one of our founders sat with a nineteen-year-old who had just signed his first professional deal. He was delighted. He also had no idea that his appearance bonus was structured to be nearly unreachable, that his release clause only applied in one window, or that the agent who arranged it had taken a fee from both sides.

Nobody had lied to him. Nobody had shown him the numbers either.

Turf & Numbers Sports Management was founded the following year on the opposite principle: every figure we put in front of a client comes with the model that produced it. If we cannot explain why a deal is good, we do not tell a player it is good.

Seven seasons on, that discipline has taken us into 32 countries and through more than 140 career mandates — senior professionals, semi-pros with a route up, and academy graduates from eighteen. We still turn down far more applications than we accept, and we still tell people why.

What we hold to

Four rules,
no exceptions

These are not posters on a wall. They are the reasons we have lost clients, and the reasons the rest have stayed.

01

Say the true thing

Including when it costs us the client. A player who is told the truth early has time to act on it.

02

Show the working

Every recommendation comes with the model behind it. No number is ever presented without its reasoning.

03

Play the long season

We are measured on where a client is in five years, not on the size of one summer's commission.

04

Protect the person

Relocation, family, education, life after the last contract. The career is finite. The person is not.

The method

Two halves
of one game

The turf

Eyes on the grass

Scouts in stadiums, not on streaming platforms. Relationships with sporting directors built over years, not bought in a window. The judgement that tells you whether a first touch survives a level up.

The numbers

Proof on the page

Comparable wage bands, appearance triggers, sell-on structures, tax exposure, five-year projections. Modelled before signature and explained in plain language, every time.

How we work

Five stages.
No surprises.

The same process for a Championship regular and an eighteen-year-old out of an academy. Only the numbers change.

01

Assessment

A structured review of footage, physical data, contract status and ambition. We tell you honestly where you sit in the market — including when the answer is not what you hoped.

02

The Plan

A written five-year career map: target leagues, realistic wage bands, the minutes needed at each stage and the clubs whose systems actually fit how you play.

03

Placement

We work our club network directly — sporting directors, heads of recruitment, coaches. Real conversations with named decision-makers, never mass emails.

04

Negotiation

Every offer modelled clause by clause before you see it, so the decision is made on complete information and the numbers are never a surprise.

05

The Long Season

Once signed, the work continues: welfare, relocation, performance reviews, renewal timing and the commercial side building quietly in the background.

Straight answers

Questions we
get asked

No. We are paid by commission on deals we complete, in line with FIFA Football Agent Regulations. We never charge a player a fee to join the roster, to be assessed, or to be put forward for a trial. Any agency that does should be treated with real caution.
We work across senior professionals, semi-professionals with a credible route up, and academy graduates aged eighteen and over. Under FIFA Football Agent Regulations our licence does not extend to representing minors, so we cannot take on players under 18 — including for trials. What matters more than current level is honest ambition and a willingness to move for minutes. We turn down far more applications than we accept, and we tell people why.
Our strongest networks are in the UK, Benelux, Iberia, France, Scandinavia, the Gulf and West Africa. We place into 32 countries in total and are candid when a market is outside our reach rather than promising access we do not have.
It depends entirely on window timing, registration status and level. A realistic range is six weeks to two windows. Anyone promising a signed contract by a fixed date is guessing.
Yes, and many do. Send us the profile — position, system, budget band, timeline — and we return a shortlist with footage and data, usually within five working days.
Yes. TNSM is represented by Humphery Iseguan, FIFA Football Agent licence number 202305-2010 (FIFA Connect ID 1N21KN2), currently valid. You can verify it yourself on the FIFA agent register — the QR code on our contact and agency pages links straight to the FIFA validation page. Our licence does not extend to representing minors, so we act only for players aged 18 and over.
